Commonly referred to as L.O.S.O., this event is the longest running disc golf tournament in the San Antonio area. 300+ players will come from all over Texas and the United States to play at the Joe Painter Live Oak Hillside and Live Oak Lakeside courses.

The Live Oak Summer Open (L.O.S.O.) was classified as an A-Tier event by the Professional Disc Golf Association (P.D.G.A.) in 2024, recognizing its historical significance and the generous sponsorship of the City of Live Oak, Universal City, and the Alamo Community Disc Club.

Disc Golf is one of the fastest growing outdoor sports across the nation. The two Live Oak courses are some of the most popular in the area with over 11k rounds recorded annually in 2024 by players on the popular disc golf score-keeping app UDisc.
